Dr. Oz was born in Boston while his parents were studying in Massachusetts to become specialists in the dental field. His parents moved to London, Dubai and Pakistan where he finished his education and followed in his parents’ footsteps to earn a Bachelors in Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) in 2006 at age 21.
Soon after, he returned to Boston and completed a three year specialty program at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics in 2011. This rigorous training program focuses on a wide range of complex problems within the oral cavity and teaches the skills needed to address issues ranging from complete oral rehabilitation to highly aesthetic work.
